Tattoo Assassins (or Tattass) is an unreleased 1994 arcade fighting game made by Data East Pinball. It uses digitized graphics similarly to a number of other fighting games of this time period (primarily the classic Mortal Kombat games).
Although unreleased, a few prototypes were test-marketed, and have since had their ROM files dumped making the game fully playable via emulation, alongside having rollback-based online play via Fightcade 2.
Gameplay
Gamplay-wise, Tattoo Assassins could be most likened to Mortal Kombat II, sharing a large amount of gameplay mechanics and feel with it. It has a relatively loose juggle-focussed combo system, and stays away from the link-based combos (not to say that they don't exist, they're just few and far between).
