Introduction
Mainland China largest international mafia, the Black Hand, this great man's efforts earned him his rise from bouncer to the highest ranks, the master of Xinyi Liuhe Quan, Wei Ye Lu. After the assassination of his patron, the Big Boss, (*1) relying on his dying words "Blitz Motor", he searches for the murderer...
Stage 1 - Sai

Wei: ? ...... What are you talking about?...
Murakumo: You know that the Black Hand is our sub-organization. We killed the previous boss so we could take over the Black Hand.
Wei: Xǔ-san...... You were absolutely the only Xǔ-san!

Wei returned to his country with a list obtained from the base and wiped out the clones that infiltrated the organization and the political world. After that he suddenly disappeared...... It is rumored that he was eliminated in retaliation, but the truth is uncertain......

Translation Notes
- (*1) There's a noted difference in the use of 大当家 for the Black Hand title of Big Boss, it's supposed to be read in Chinese since in Japanese you only get 当家 (douke) 1) this family; we; 2) this house. And in Chinese 当家 dāngjiā 1) to be the one in charge of the family; 2) to call the shots; to be in charge. It indicates that the title is said in Chinese: "dàdāngjiā".
- (*2) Kanae is assigned to the Ground Staff Office (陸上幕僚監部) abreviated here as 陸幕 (Rikubaku), so I used the equivalent acronym. The GSO is a special agency of the Ministry of Defense that commands the GSDF. [1]
- (*3) Akatsuki's hiding place, Aokigahara (青木ヶ原) also known as the Sea of Trees (樹海 - Jukai) is a dense forest on the northwestern flank of Japan's Mount Fuji. Some 6 kms. to the south of the forest lies the Fujigane (富士ヶ嶺) Plateau an area populated mainly by farms where the fight against Fritz takes place. [2]
- (*4) 黒孩子 literally meaning "Black Child". An unregistered illegitimate child not declared for being born outside the one-child policy. [3]
- (*5) From 国务院 (Guówùyuàn) State Council (of the People's Republic of China), the Chinese government. [4]
- (*6) The phrase Wei uses here 手是両扇門、全靠脚打人 is actually in Chinese. It comes from 手是兩扇門，全憑腳打人 (shǒu shì liǎng shānmén, quán píng jiǎo dǎ rén) its literal meaning is "hand is some fan door, all relies on legs to hit the person" stating the importance of footwork and spacing in martial arts. I found this exact phrase in a DVD series from Kung Fu master and instructor Adam Hsu (徐紀 - Xú Jǐ [5]) called "Baji Thunder - 6 Openings & 8 Tendencies" centered on the basics of Bajiquan with the translation in English I used. [6]
- In essence, Wei's quote is a VERY elaborate way of saying "go back to basics."
- (*7) Another phrase in Chinese 來是一大片、法是一条线 (lái shì yīdàpiàn, fǎ shì yītiáoxiàn) literally "return is one large area, the way/method is one thin thread". This references a seemingly common phrase in Chinese "一条线、一大片" (one line, one large area) that I found mentioned in many different topics. For example: the name of China's diplomatic strategy against Russia in the 70s [7] [8], and also in agriculture stating that is more effective applying fertilizer in a line rather than to cover a large area. [9]
- His quote explains that "no matter the size, the method is to focus on a single point (also weak point)."
- (*8) The original text 上海一の打派 literally "Shanghai's number one of fighting sect", is just like his win quote in EE. The second part (打派) are two different terms related to Kung Fu. 打 (dǎ) [to beat; to strike; to hit] refers the form he uses which it's for actual fighting in contrast to other forms used only for practice. 派 (pài) [clique; school; group; faction] refers to the style which are identified as "families" (家 jiā), "sects" (派 pài) or "schools" (門 mén). I used "Kung Fu fighter" to try to encompass all this in a small dialogue. [10]
- 大魏 as explained in EE is supposed to be a nickname/title meaning "Big Wèi" or "Great Wèi".
