Controls
On the arcade cabinet (or on FightCade), buttons 1 through 3 correspond to Light Punch, Medium Punch and Heavy Punch, which you will find abbreviated to LP, MP and HP on the wiki.
Buttons 4 through 6 correspond to Light Kick, Medium Kick and Heavy Kick, which are abbreviated to LK, MK and HK throughout the wiki.
The only other universal input in this game is the Dodge, activated by pressing LP + MP at the same time. This triggers a strike-invulnerable dodge that makes your character flash red and lasts roughly a second.
The throw command is character-specific and can be found notated on each page.
Numpad Notation
When browsing this wiki, for the sake of convenience, a notation system will be used when annotating combos and inputs. For directional inputs, numpad notation will be used. Here are the directional inputs possible in this game:

Knowing this, we can overlay those directions with the numbers on a number pad to make those directions correspond to a numpad layout. For instance, 5 represents the lever neutral position, and 8 represents an upwards input.
