Number Notation
Think of the directions on your control device as the numbers on a number pad.
2 would be crouch, 4 would have you walk back, 8 would result in a jump and so on. We will use this number notation for the majority of this wiki to explain moves.
Universal Controls
Movement
Step - or
When you step in the direction your character is facing, you get a front-step. When you input it in the opposite direction, you get a back-step. Every character has a slightly different step. Some characters, such as Tamaki, have full dashes.
Airdash - or - In the air
Only Sasara can air dash, she cannot block after she air dashes.
Jump - or or
Inputting 7, 8 or 9 on the ground will allow you to jump in that direction.
Super Jump - - Then - or or
Inputting 1, 2 or 3 on the ground, then quickly up to 7, 8 or 9 will allow you to super jump. The start up is longer than then a regular jump, but you jump much higher.
※ Only Hakuowlo, Tamaki, Morgan, Konomi and Multi can super jump. Multi has a slightly different super jump.
Short Hop - Tap or or
Inputting 7, 8 or 9 on the ground will allow you to jump in that direction.
※ Only Touka, Tamaki and Konomi can short hop
Double Jump - or or - In the air
Inputting 7, 8 or 9 in the air will allow you to jump again in that direction.
※ Only Mogan and Manaka can double jump
Attacks
In general, Weak attacks are faster, have less range, do low damage, and recover fairly quickly, whereas Strong attacks are slower, have more range, do high damage, and recover fairly slowly. Medium attacks are in the middle.
