Avengers in Galactic Storm is a fighting game based on Marvel's Avengers, specifically being loosely based on the "Operation Galactic Storm" event in the comics. In the vanilla version, players can battle it out as either one of four Avengers or one of four Kree, with each faction being able to select from one of four unique assist characters (Along with a normally unselectable boss character). However, the community more often now uses the 'Boss Hack' which enables selection of both the boss Character and free selection of all eight assists regardless of character choice.
Avengers in Galactic Storm is a 2-D four-button fighter, with a control scheme very similar to that of SNK's King of Fighters, consisting of a light and heavy punch and kicks of equivalent strength to each. While a relatively unknown game, Avengers is a deep and engaging fighting game, and this wiki is being built for the purpose of getting info out on the game to hopefully assist in allowing new players to learn the game at a deeper level.
