  • If hit by any High or Middle Non-Kick-based attack, Marvel will simply parry the attack. However, the opponent will not be locked in place, meaning they can still attack and hit her during recovery.
  • If hit by a High or Middle Kick-based attack (including Guard Breaks), the move will activate; on a successful activation, Marvel grabs the opponent's leg and transitions into a heavily damaging leg lock.
