The purpose of this page is to provide a quick-start written guide to EN-Eins Perfektewelt: Anastasis.

Getting The Game

As of writing this, EN1A is exclusive to Japanese arcades with no plans for a home release or broader western release. It can be played in the USA and Canada at Round 1 facilities that feature it, but beyond this there is no way to play the game. This will likely change in the future by way of emulation, but when is unknown.

Modes

EN1A has three main game modes, those being Story, Versus, and Training. Story is a typical fighting game arcade latter, going through the cast until a character specific sub-boss is fought followed by a fight with the final boss, Valkyria. Additionally, most characters may fight Inazuma or in Inazuma's story, its EN-Eins as their last battle. Additionally, when turned on two players can Co-op through Arcade mode.

Versus is a typical fighting game local versus mode. Two players select a character then fight until one is defeated.

Training mode is exactly what it sounds like. It allows you to practice techniques and combos within a controlled environment. The training mode lasts 5 minutes by default and players can be challenged while playing it. Training mode has the following settings:

  • Health Gauge Recovery: Always recover,
  • Super Gauge Recovery: On, Off

Basic Actions

Movement

Movement in EN1A is relatively simple, although there are some wrinkles to it. Walking and dashing work like a typical fighting game, with the durations and speeds varying between characters. Notably there is some heavy variations in dashes, with Murakumo and Perfecti having teleport dashes and Anonym Guard having a low profile dash. Backdashes go less distance but have a small amount of invincibility. Jumping too works fairly traditionally, with characters having longer or shorter arcs. However, EN1A also features universal double jumps. Double jumps too have varying arcs, but generally speaking forward double jumps go far further than back double jumps, almost like an air dash.

Attacking

EN1A has 4 total buttons, those being A, B, C, and D. A is light attack, B is medium attack, C is heavy attack, and D is reflector. A, B, and C can be chained into each other and used with motions to perform attacks and combos. These vary heavily between characters, but some motions and chains stay the same between the cast. When any attack is repeated on block it performs a unique followup, that can go into a unique ender (i.e. 5AAAA or 5BBB is a unique chain). Any special input when done with BC or D becomes an EX special move. In addition, pressing ABC with full meter does a character's Super. When in Kanzen Sekai, pressing ABD will perform a characters Kanzen Shinsatsu.
