Idol Showdown/Virtual Frontier

Introduction

Virtual Frontier is a single-player campaign in which you choose paths between fights, shops and events with the goal of defeating the boss at the end. Clearing this mode with a character will unlock their Cosplay 4, and clearing it with the Gladiator Chains will unlock the hidden stage Eternity Bright.

Fights are affected by items that are obtained throughout the run; equipable items modify your character's attributes, while snacks can be consumed during fights to activate their effects for limited periods of time.

This is a quick list of all Accessories & Snacks found in a Virtual Frontier run as well as other unlockable items.

All items are categorized into Starting, Normal, and Error. Starting items are items that you choose at the stat of a virtual frontier run to determine the difficulty. Normal items are items that are usually beneficial to the player. Error items are items that are powerful items with drawbacks, needing specific items to cover the drawbacks for the player.

Also items are classified into rarity. Higher rarity usually means a higher price as well as being more powerful. Rarity is as follows:

– Rare (Blue border)

– ERROR (Purple border)

Holo Mic	1	Accessory	Normal	Common	Increases the damage of all collab attacks.	Microphone intended for use on a large stage. When held by an idol, it can be used to deliver breathtaking performances.	-
Hour Sword	1	Accessory	Normal	Common	Causes the timer to count down slower.	While its primary purpose is for time-telling, this clock hand occasionally doubles as part of a helicopter.	-

Breaddog	2	Accessory	Normal	Uncommon	Restores health whenever you consume a snack.	Sentient baked-goods that arrived from the cosmos. They're faithful to the astrogirl who raised them, but sometimes wander out of orbit.	-
Butterfly Hair Clip	2	Accessory	Normal/Locked	Uncommon	When your health hits zero during a fight, you will remain alive and invincible for a short period. Only triggers once per fight.	Carries a necromancer's blessing. Butterflies, products of metamorphosis, are often considered a symbol of death and rebirth.	Lose a run 20 times to unlock.
Circus Instrument Box	3	Accessory	Normal	Uncommon	Automatically generates explosive music note projectiles.	Chest containing a variety of odd musical mechanisms. It's seemingly bottomless, giving it near-infinite POLtential.	-
Decaying Yubi	3	Accessory	Normal	Uncommon	Your attacks have a random chance to inflict decay. Decay deals damage every second.	Memento from a world where society was ruled by the hypnotism of an Evil God. Ragged from years of decomposition.	-

Sacrificial Nousagi	3	Accessory	Normal	Uncommon	Provides a "free hit" that nulliSefies damage and stun from an enemy attack.	This poor bunny must have upset its boss in order to end up here. Maybe it made fun of her greeting too many times?	-
Secret Society Shades	3	Accessory	Normal	Uncommon	Causes longer combos to deal more damage.	These shades are wacky, but somehow still radiate maturity. Wearing them may get you in trouble.	-
Turkey's Quill	3	Accessory	Normal/Locked	Uncommon	Improves luck at event nodes.	This pen shows signs of extensive use. Lots of "exciting" stories must have been written with it.	Rest at reine stop 3 times in a single run to unlock.
Zombie Sword	3	Accessory	Normal	Uncommon	Your attacks deal significantly more damage when at low health.	Its origins are shrouded in mystery. There are rumors of a girl searching for it, claiming that she "misses how it feels in her head".	-
Angelic Halo	4	Accessory	Normal/Locked	Rare	Provides a permanent increase to maximum HP whenever you KO an oppoent with a throw.	Holy disk granted to students at Heaven Academy. Its ability to grant increase grip strength might be due to the influence of its past owner.	Grab an opponent 5 times in a single fight to unlock.
Anya	4	Accessory	Normal	Rare	Summons a trusty dagger that attacks alongside you.	Ancient keris granted consciousness through ritual. It's powerful, but shakes with fear in the presence of raisins.	-
Atlantis' Bane	4	Accessory	Normal	Rare	Prevents hitstun, but also prevents blocking.	Trident wielded by the warriors of Atlantis. Its hydrodynamic shape makes it optimal for underwater combat.	-
Black Guitar	4	Accessory	Normal	Rare	Provides an extra copy whenever you pick up a Common accessory.	A busker's well-worn acoustic guitar. It's a little bit out of tune, but still emits an earnest and expressive sound.	-
Blacksmith's Hammer	4	Accessory	Normal/Locked	Rare	Whenever you KO with a move, it increases in power for the rest of this run.	Worn out hammer once wielded extensively by a penguin. Can be used not only for smithing, but also to bonk the skulls of the unruly.	Win a fight after using a single move 30 times to unlock.
Coyote's Chemistry Kit	4	Accessory	Normal/Locked	Rare	Doubles the duration of snack effects.	Compact test tube kit from a scientist's lab. The flasks contain an inhibitor which extends the length of chemical reactions.	Receive from "Koyori's Experiment" event to unlock.
Death Scythe	4	Accessory	Normal	Rare	Instantly defeats the enemy if a hit is landed within the final four seconds of a match.	Weapon of choice for the Grim Reaper's first apprentice. It's fallen into disuse since its liege went on hiatus.	-
Dragon Amulet	4	Accessory	Normal	Rare	When hurt, creates an aura that grows in power the more damae is taken.	Legendary gemstone to be wielded by the head of the Kiryu-kai. Imbued with the power of dragonfire.	-

Hitodama	4	Accessory	Normal	Rare	Aerial opponents hit by your grounded attacks will be set on fire until they land on the ground.	Meandering lost spirit belonging to a singer. It enanates fiery determination, but also exibits fondness for cats.	-

Fights

  Many fights in Virtual Frontier have a certain gimmick. Make sure to read before the fight or else the player might be in for a nasty surprise. In this screen, players can also select the snacks to have them be used during fights automatically.

• 

  Before the fight start, there is a small chance that Amelia Watson comes and ask you to test out an Error Item. The Error Accessory is only temporary for the fight and can lead to a loss due to the additional drawbacks of the Error Accessory.

• 

  Accepting Amelia's Challenge and winning will give the player access to Amelia's shop, where she sells Accessories and Snacks. This is usually the way to obtain Error Accessories/Snacks for a niche build or get Rare Accessory/Snack for a discount.

• 

  After Each fight, the player will be offered a choice. The player will need to select the reward or else the player would skip the rewards if the player just select "Next Stage" after the fight.

	Accessory	Seal of Matrimony Marry Nene = Obtain a Marriage Certificate, but costs you the price for love {−1/3 your pekos}. Marry Nene twice! = Obtain 2 Marriage Certificates, but the fee cuts heavily {−1/2 your pekos}. Marry Nene three times!!!!!!!!!! = Obtain 3 Marriage Certificates, but costs you all of your pekos. Do not marry Nene = ... ): (Nene won't let you, reconsider).
	Pekos/Accessory	Devilish Prank Claim the bag = Towa pranks you with a cool hat {Bibi Replica}. Tell the truth! = Towa hands you the burden of ＋100 pekos.
	Accessory	Birthday Gift Open it! = You happily accept a Rare Accesory (The blue kind). Leave it alone = You go straight to bed, then wake up to find that the gift box has disappeared.
	Acessory	Fox Burger Country Get a burger! = A small sheep arrives with a Fox Burger. Order a beverage = A small sheep arrives with a random soft drink (snack). I'm not hungry... = Decide not to order anything.
	Health/Accessory	Sing-Along (WHiTE) A cute pop song = You jam out together, the upbeat tune rejuvenates you. {＋10% health}. (BLaCK) An intense metal song = You rock a little too hard {−15% health}, AZKi gives you a Tokino Soda. (ReD) A slow groovy song = You sing a nostalgic tune together, AZKi hands you some Pioneer Water.
	Pekos/Accessory	WOULD YOU DO IT??? Absolutely! = A wad of ＋200 pekos falls into your hands, but you let Ollie hit you for −10% of health. No way! = Ollie gives you a Pedas Manja as a token of gratitude.

Events 2

These events are mostly RNG dependent or neutral for the player. Some RNG events can be stacked to the player's favor with the accessory "Turkey's Quill"

Tap out! >> You give up, Lamy celebrates her victory, then helps you on your way out. Maybe another day! = You decline her challenge and buy her a drink instead. Lose −30% pekos.

Random Accessory B = You leave Accessory B behind, watching how it sinks into the lava. Random Accessory C = You leave Accessory C behind, watching how it sinks into the lava.
	Health/Pekos	Unlucky Day Curse the streamer gods! = You swear loudly at them, it takes longer to enable monetization again (🡓 half your pekos). Pray to the streamer gods = The intensity of your prayer exhausts you (−25% of your health), but your channel is back in business.
	Health/Accessory/Snack	Sanity Check Read the book = Emerge unharmed >> The elder gods became your ally (AO-chan＋ Dr. Oopsie). Too much to bear >> Accept the embrace of the Old Ones (AO-chan＋Dr. Oopsie), but not unharmed (−30% health). Don't read it = Reading is for chumps!.
	Health/Accessory	Hanasaki no Mori Accept their help = They hand you a Peach Blossom Hairpin as a memento. Go it alone = You decide to find a way out, you're badly hurt by the end (−20% of your health).
	Health	Mental Block Try to help her = You get paid ＋50 pekos, but also get psychic damage (−20% of your health). Run! = You sprint away, injuring yourself a bit in the process (−10% of your health).
