What kind of game is A Feudal Fairy Tale?

Inuyasha is a low execution game with an emphasis on grounded neutral, characters generally have strong ground movement but weak air mobility. Aggression and setplay options are present and quite strong, but zoning and grounded footsies are the focus here.

Is there a place to discuss the game?

There is! The discord server is the only known concise community for the game.

Wait, doesn't this game have a bunch of easy infinites?

There is a universal parry mechanic that can be performed during hitstun with specific timing, and after a couple reps your opponent will be able to parry out of an 'infinite' fairly easily. Think of it like Holds in Dead or Alive. If the infinite you see doesn't involve an airborne juggle then it's fake. You can click here for more details on how the parry and the parry breaking systems work.

What does the tier list look like?

Generally speaking there is no huge disparity between characters unless you look at the top of the tier list compared to the bottom, most characters are good but a few lack some basic tools. There is no Inuyasha Pro-Tour and serious high level tournaments are rare so pick whatever character clicks with you the most instead of adhering only to a meta. That being said, the following is a truncated, general approximation of how the community views the tiers:

S: Totosai, Inuyasha
A: Shippo, Koga, Demon Inuyasha, Miroku
B: Kikyo
C: Kagome, Sesshomaru, Kagura, Sango, Naraku

How is netplay handled?

The netplay is played through Yuri's custom netplay pack. For the dedicated server list provided by Yuri, you can visit here. Any further questions can be happily answered by Yuri herself in the discord server!

Where can I find frame data for the game?

Currently, there is no full frame data, but it is currently being worked on by Eggroll.

Why aren't there any hitbox images?

The word 'strange' is a recurring theme with this game, and hit detection is no exception; there are no separately defined hitboxes, and instead parts of a whole sprite are the hitbox. This means that moves like Sango's j.W are near exact to what the sprite portrays; in this case being very long but incredibly thin.

How can I access training mode?

Thankfully, this game has a pretty decent training mode already made by the devs, and is easily accessible from the main menu. There are plans to work with the program Eddie Input by novriltataki in the future for even more functions, but nothing is set in stone yet.
