Gordon Bowman

Introduction

The biggest cop in all of Jipang City, Gordon looks like a bad guy, has his partner as King Lion, and kind of plays like a bad guy. Despite this he is actually an awesome dad who enters the tournament to earn money for his sick daughters surgery

Strengths Weaknesses
  • Lots of good grabs, including an air grab and a command grab super
  • 236A is one of the few moves that can actually break air blocks
  • Surprisingly good projectile for a big body character
  • He's a very big target
  • A number of his moves are very unsafe
  • Many of his normals are either straight up bad or are lacking the benefits that other characters have

A hitgrab that launches the opponent into the air. Perform the followup right after he launches the opponent. This move also happens to be one of the only moves that actually anti airs since it can’t be air blocked. Still pretty unsafe on ground block if the opponent has a fast long range move.

Funny flash kick motion that's a projectile that eats other projectiles that don’t already eat projectiles. Recovers pretty fast and allows Gordon to annoy opponents who try to zone him out.

Best I can describe this move is “eh”. Gordon spins the tonfa above and in front him which comes out pretty fast but isn’t anything special. It’ll anti-air them if they pressed a button already
