Shoukatsuryou

Summons a whirlwind that begins behind the point character, travels roughly 50% of the screen, and knocks the opponent up on hit.

Revered along with Hōtō as one of the greatest strategists of the age, she is known as the Sleeping Dragon. She wishes to dedicate her wisdom and cunning to the cause of making the world a better place. She can use the tactic "Southeast Wind" to trigger whirlwinds.

Houtou

Summons chains that travel fullscreen and binds the opponent, allowing a conversion if you are close enough.

Famed strategist from the same school as Shokatsuryō, and known as the Fledgling Phoenix. Shy and retiring, she wears a brimmed hat pulled down low over her face. She can use the "Tactic of Linkage" to bind her enemy with chains.

Jun'iku

Summons a punji trap in front of or underneath the opponent, if close enough, allowing for a conversion if the opponent steps into it.

Strategist of Gi, unfailingly loyal to Sōsō. Disdainful of those with lesser intellects, she loathes Kakōton in particular. Ironically, she behaves much like Kakōton by often acting impulsively in the name of supporting Sōsō. She can use the tactic "Gloomy Torture" to capture enemies in an invisible trap.

Tei'iku

Causes a fairly quick lighting strike about 1/3 to 1/2 a screen away from the point character that crumples on ground or air hit, can be used in pressure to stop pokes or jump outs. Often used in fatal combos to restand characters.

Laconic and easygoing strategist of Gi. Normally relaxed and unfocused, when it comes time to propose a strategy, she is cold, calculating, and entirely devoid of emotion. She can use the tactic "Houkei Collider" to bring down a lightning bolt on the head of a doll.

Shuuyu

Summons a pillar of fire in front of or on top of the opponent, if close enough, that hits fairly high in the air. Useful for stopping the opponent from approaching you. During Fatal combos this will OTG microlaunch them allowing you to run up and keep juggling.

Leading strategist of Go and close friend of Sonsaku. A central figure of Go, she combines military strength with political astuteness.
A realist, she considers all matters from the perspectives of "reason" and "long-term benefit." She can use the tactic "Flame of Shūyu" to trigger a conflagration in front of the enemy.

Ryomou

  • Chikuwa item has an attack level of 9, deals 0 damage.

Ryomou throws various items that travel fullscreen in various trajectories. A good assist overall that lets you cover your approach or deters your opponent's, while allowing a followup if you're close enough. Best used at long ranges or as an oki tool.

A low-ranking bureaucrat serving Sonken. Her sharp-eyed appearance makes her seem aggressive and unapproachable, but this is in fact due to her myopia, and not any actual personality trait. Self-conscious regarding her appearance, this has led her to be shy and somewhat unfriendly. She can use the tactic "Hit by Ryomō," throwing multiple weapons concealed up her sleeve at the enemy.

Kaku

Summons a pillar of ice in front of the point character that freezes the opponent on hit, allowing a followup combo. Best used as an anti-air and a Hougeki extension.

The hot-cold running strategist of the Tōtaku army and Tōtaku's childhood friend. Has terrible misfortune some days, and is often at the mercy of unfortunate events. Freezes enemies with a pillar of ice which reaches up to the heavens.

Chinkyuu

After she locks onto the opponent's current position, Chinkyū comes in from the top of the screen at an angle performing a divekick.

Ryofu's strategist, she is utterly devoted to her, and accompanies her wherever she goes. Her inexperience and childishness often leads to her strategies being seen through by opposing strategists. She provides support for Ryofu with her special move, "Chinkyū Kick."
Chinkyū is the only strategist whose palette changes based on the respective point character.

Kakuka

A shockwave blows the enemy away on hit, it does no damage and can't be followed up. A defensive assist recommended for beginners who want a burst-like option when in the corner.

She is serious and sometimes gives her opinions to Cao Cao, but her stubborn attitude is the reverse of her true feelings. Whenever she gets distracted, she has a habit of bursting into a nosebleed because of her delusion of being bullied by Sōsō. She uses the "Supersonic Impact," which blasts away approaching enemies.
