Introduction

Ume, formerly named Oume (still sounds the same), famous for her legendary strength, received an invite to the martial arts tournament The prize for winning was marrying the eldest son of the king of a Certain Country. Ume has no interest in marrying the prince but instead seeks the fortune of the royal family.


Overview

Strengths Weaknesses
  • Fast normals all around.
  • 9.C is an easy cross-up tool thanks to it's shifting hitbox.
  • 3.B can low profile almost anything. Even Guard Cancels.
  • 9.C > D natrual chain for a double overhead.
  • 236.A is slow moving and can be followed up
  • 623.A/C is a decent DP with start-up invinciblity frames.
  • j.236.B/D dive kicks that can be linked off of after landing.
  • 63214.A can be looped with a dashing punch.
  • 236-236.A/B/C/D is a locational super and can be used to punish opponents fullscreen.
  • 1346.AC is a good tool for setting up juggles. Especially against Chinnen, Poochy and Saizo.
  • 1346.AC can be linked of 66.P.
  • 236-236-236.C auto tracks the opponent.
  • Low damage output without 63214.A loops.
  • 66.P is the only way to get more damage outside of BnB combos. High-risk option thanks to the double counter hit mechanic.
  • Shortest normals in the game.
  • 236.A/C's long recovery prevents the fireball from being a good zoning tool.
  • 63214.C cannot be linked from anything.
  • 63214.C is terrible for zoning thanks to it's huge recovery. It's easy to jump it.
  • 2.C > C natural chain combo whiffs unless it's on a cross-up.
  • 236-236.C won't link outside of 66.P, 2.C > C, or 2.CD, making it insanely hard to hit outside of punishes.
  • 1346.AC is only good when you have 3 stress meter to do the most damage.
  • 1346.AC cannot be done off of 63214.A loops.
  • 236-236-236.C only does an extra 6 damage for triple the meter.
