Overview
Contrary to popular belief Nimue is not a zoner. She is a setplay character based around a strong neutral game. Your goal as Nimue is to stagger your pressure, bait out rolls, and setup her strong corner okizeme combo. Her main gimmick falls around her Elemental Attack (5D) which gains levels (1 through 3) as it's held down, firing upon release of the button. The key to playing Nimue effectively is, like with any charge character, to ABC: Always Be Charging. There's not a moment while playing Nimue that the 5D button should not be held down. Her main weakness is her lack of strong damage off of her combos, and the fact her gameplay if very neutral based and read reliant. you should probably have a stick/hitbox to play this character
Recommended Support Knights
- Type II Balin
- Strong all-around support. Almost every character can benefit from her and Nimue is no exception
- Clone Mercenary Arthur
- Similar to Balin, a very solid all-around support knight. Nimue has a lot of combo potential with Clone Mercenary due to his untechable knockdown
- Clone Techno-Smith Arthur
- Strong DP Wind assist with an untechable knockdown. Can be followed by either Mercenary Arthur or Balin. However, Nimue shines in the corner with this assist, as it allows her to setup an okizeme with her 623A if she hits a Level 3 charged 5D before connecting Clone Techno-Smith
- Clone Pharsalia
- Good combo ender with anything that involves a Level 3 5D charged shot
