Overview

The Dom is a mass produced mobile suit that specializes in ground combat, replacing Gouf units as the Principality of Zeon's main ground unit. This Dom unit is piloted by Lieutenant Gaia, the leader of the Black Tri-Stars trio, who are known for their trademark "Jet Stream Attack" and skilled teamwork. With limited movement and far reaching normals, the Dom works best in midrange and close combat but struggles to get in. However, his notable j.2b opens up easy stun combos.

Pros Cons
  • Strong Midrange buttons: Dom has a wide variety of disjointed pokes perfect for keeping opponents just outside of arm’s reach.
  • Easy Stuns: Dom can easily stun opponents out of the blue because of j.2B’s high stun output.
  • Needs Reads for Damage: Dom’s damage output is very low, so to get any threatening damage in Dom needs to land a stun with j.2B.

Dom quickly swings his sword. The small hitbox makes it really easy for this move to whiff on crouching opponents. It's mostly ignored in favor of other normals like 2A.

Another overhead fist bash. It has two very small hitboxes, but deals a lot of Ex Revue's invisible stun damage. Guarantees a stun if the opponent has been hit before or is hit after the j.2B connects.

If you and the opponent are pushed up into the corner, all three hits will properly connect.

Currently banned in tournament play due to the extreme flashing lights displayed during the attack that could potentially harm players who are sensitive to flashing lights.
By holding down a button, Dom charges up for a powerful dash. Damage and how far you move increases depending on how long you held the button.
Up to 1/3 of the opponent's health bar and a fullscreen dash can be charged, which takes about 30 "seconds" of the ingame timer.

Gaiya jumps back then leaps forward and "attacks" with the other Black Tri-Star Dom pilots. Crosses up if blocked, but isn't safe. Invincible on startup until the middle of the dash forward. Difficult to input but damages a bit less than 1/3 of the opponent's health bar.
The button pressed changes which Dom unit you are.
