Additional Notes
- Byakugan
Hinata has access to an install via at the cost of 50% Chakra. This changes some of her moveset by giving her some of her cousin Neji's moves, and also buffs her Hyuuga Cancel ability.
- The following moves are replaced with altered copies of Neji's respective moves:
- Hyuuga Cancels specific to this "Awakened" state (such as ) can be cancelled on frame 1.
- Hinata's Guard Gauge is increased to an incredibly high value, to the point where she is even able to guard most instant guard break moves (such as Neji's ).
- Hinata takes 1.2x more damage when getting hit, but this also means she builds more Chakra from getting hit as well.
- Hyuuga Cancels
Hinata can cancel some of her attacks to a neutral state by pressing during their startup, as a feint. These attacks/strings include:
These specific attacks can still be Hyuuga Cancelled even when used in the middle of other strings.
- Extra Super Cancels
Hinata has numerous unique super cancel points in her strings, much more than most other characters:
These specific attacks can still be Super Cancelled even when used in the middle of other strings.
- Latent Ninja Power
- LNP activates at 30% health and grants these buffs:
- has invulnerability until the end of its active frames (it is now a true reversal).
- Hinata can block immediately after turning around.
- no longer costs Chakra.
- While is active, drains Hinata's Chakra more slowly.
- Other
- Hinata's (behind obstacle) and are her and respectively.
- The version of that Hinata uses changes depending on whether is active or not.
- The version of is a separate move that fires 5 kunai, instead of 4.

- Can be held to extend catch frames at the cost of chakra
While in Byakugan state, Hinata's 4A becomes functionally identical to Neji's 4A, including the ability to hold it to extend the catch window.

Hinata throws 2 kunais at a 45 degree angle down towards the ground. Identical to most other kunai j.As, so it's still mainly used for neutral / anti-anti-air / throw bait like the rest.
