Main Strengths

  • Decent keepaway and lockdown game with his tracking bug summons and other disjointed attacks that cover air/ground and counter-zone.
  • Bugs drain chakra on hit, so his zoning and combos keep the opponent from having their resources. He also has access to true infinites due to this if the opponent can't substitute before the bug loops start.
  • Meaty Strong Attack okizeme (with or without Charge) can lead to guaranteed damage/checkmate situations when followed up with unblockable Paper Bomb tosses.

Latent Ninja Power
  • LNP activates at 20% health remaining and grants these buffs:
    • Strong Attack adopts the properties of ChargeStrong Attack.
    • The amount of Chakra drained by the Parasitic Insects increases slightly.
    • Attacks involving Parasitic Insects drain the opponent's Chakra even if blocked.
Other
  • When using Strong Attack, Shino will summon a swarm of Parasitic Insects, which will track the opponent a set distance and drain the opponent's Chakra on hit. Parasitic Insects go away if Shino is hit, but not if he is forced to block.
  • Shino's (behind obstacle) Weak Attack and Strong Attack are his BackWeak AttackWeak Attack(Weak Attack) and Weak AttackWeak Attack(Strong Attack) respectively.
