SPD Delta Squad Megazord

Introduction

The Delta Squad Megazord is the primary Space Patrol Delta Megazord formed when all five Delta Runners combine. Delta Runner 1 becomes the head, main torso and upper legs, Delta Runners 4 and 5 serve as the arms and Delta Runners 2 and 3 become the lower legs. Its weapons are the Delta Blaster and Delta Sword. It is equipped with a giant version of the Judgment Scanner built into its left arm which determines if a suspect is innocent or guilty and can only be activated by a Delta Morpher. Also, it has Shrink Cuffs that can be placed on or used to downsize opponents. It uses its blaster for Firing Energy and sword for the Delta Power Strike.

Overview

The SPD Megazord takes the role of an utility-based Zord, being able to apply debuffs to opponents.

The SPD Megazord passes judgement upon the opponent.

This move is unique in that it makes a graphic appear on the screen. When this happens, one of two effects is chosen at random. Has a considerably higher cooldown timer than other Ultra Attacks.

Innocent Verdict 0 - - - - - -

On an Innocent Verdict, the summoner of the Zord is covered in a cyan aura and circle, and has a portion of their residual (blue) health refilled.

On a Guilty Verdict, the opponent is marked with a red X, and several explosions swarm the battlefield.

The SPD Megazord slams the ground with its Shrink Cuffs. This move is unblockable, but doesn't put the opponent in hitstun.

This move gives 2 different debuffs based on whether it hits the opponent in the air or on the ground:

  • Grounded opponents hit will be unable to jump.
  • Airborne opponents hit will be unable to block while in the air.

The airborne variation can be used to create unblockable setups on incoming characters by hitting them with the cuffs on the first frame they enter and immediately hitting them with an attack. This is incredibly powerful and the strongest reason to pick SPD.

The SPD Megazord attacks with the electrified Delta Sword. Stuns the opponent on hit. There is a hitbox near the handle of the sword that groundbounces, but doesn't stun.
