Psychic Force 2012/Carlo
Carlo is a generally safe all-rounder type character who has options for all ranges with an emphasis on defensive zoning and space control. He has tools for setup, a counter for physical attacks, great range on his normals, and great zoning options. Thanks to his variety of techniques, he can fight in a number of ways. That said, rather than forcing offense Carlo excels at defensively intercepting the opponent with his variety of PSY moves and pushing them to make a mistake which he can then capitalize on. Defensively, thanks to his safety Carlo can be a real nuisance to open up.
Where Carlo truly lacks is in the offense and damage department. As a result Carlo tends to favor a long and grindy game where he tries his best to bring the opponent down bit by bit, looking to frustrate them all along the way. His normals though big are somewhat slow. Although he does have a BnB with L,S,Hydro Spiral (66+S) it is the weakest in the game. His throw is also a problem; due to its recovery when done to the opponent at the wall they can recover and punish Carlo for being thrown.
Carlo relies on good spatial and situational awareness to really shine, but his solid and safe gameplan is extremely effective.
