Red Earth/War-Zard/HUD
(1) Health Bar
Area that indicates how much health a character has left.
(2) Damage Taken
Damage a character takes after a combo or hit.
(3) Permanent Damage
How much health a character has lost.
(4) Round Points
Point that a player gets after winning a round represented by a shield. Depending on how the player won the round, the emblem on the shield will match.
- Victory: Win the round with a normal attack.
- Cherry: Win the round with a weak attack.
- Special: Win the round with a special attack.
- Super Combo: Win the round with a character super.
- Mystic Force: Win the round with a Mystic Force super (elemental super).
- Timeout: Win the round by timeout.
- Draw: Share a win with the opponent when both players timeout with the same amount of health left.
- Perfect: Win the round without taking any damage.
If the player who won did so by chip damage, then the shield will be cracked to indicate such. There exists only 3 types of chip KO emblems: Special, Super Combo, and Mystic Force.
(5) Timer
99 Second timer that indicates how much time is left before the end of the round. If the timer reaches 0 seconds, the player with the most amount of health left wins. If both characters have an equal amount of health, both players get a point.
(6) Orbs
The number of orbs a player has indicates how many character supers or mystic force supers they can use. Performing a super will use up the current orb (that being the one closest to the timer). As such, the current orb also indicates what element the super will be. The maximum amount of orbs a player can have are 3. You can cycle the element of the current orb by pressing Start.
(7) Character Level
LV indicates the level of the character that player uses. The level determines how strong the character is as well as the number of special moves the character has unlocked. A character will level up as you play through the story mode, gaining resistances, weapons, and special moves at certain levels or under certain conditions. A password will be given at the end of the story mode that will determine the character's level and properties when re-entered at a later date. The max level for every character is 32, which is the character level that's used for competitive play.
