Story

The youngest trainee in the history of the Air Academy, Wrastor has never lived by anyone's rules but his own. After graduating at the top of his class, he joined the Air Armada, the military force of Air Nation.

Within a year, Wrastor became renowned not just in Air Nation but across Aether as a fierce and unpredictable figher. However, among his superiors, he is more infamous for his brashness and arrogance than for his daring deeds. Currently an Aerial Ace for the Air Armada, Wrastor is wrecking havoc among the Armada's enemies and generals alike.

Gameplay

Wrastor is a mobility and offense focused character. His many movement options give him plenty of freedom, both on the ground and in the air. He also boasts one of the scariest punish games in the entire cast thanks to his aforementioned great mobility, unique combo tools, and powerful aerial kill moves. However, Wrastor is the most fragile character in the game, so while he makes opponents pay dearly for making mistakes, the same can be said in reverse.

Playstyle
Wrastor is a glass cannon with superb mobility, strong juggles, and high kill power.
Pros Cons
  • Multiple jumps: Wrastor has three aerial jumps instead of the standard one. They have many offensive and defensive applications.
  • Slipstream: This character defining special move heavily increases Wrastor’s raw speed and he has access to it almost all the time.
  • Combo ace: With his mobility, jump cancel options, angle flippers and more, Wrastor’s combo game is among the best and most free form.
  • Blast zone express: On top of being damaging and stylish, Wrastor’s combos can easily carry an opponent to the blastzone of his choice (even the one behind him) and send them into it with one of his powerful aerial kill moves.
  • Recovery: As long as he has aerial jumps to spare, Wrastor is difficult to edgeguard without taking considerable risks.
  • Fragile: Wrastor is the lightest character in the game, allowing skilled opponents to easily take his stocks off of one or two mistakes.
  • Combo reliant: Wrastor’s best kill moves are very unsafe in neutral, so he needs to combo into them. In situations where he cannot reliably do so (such as when the opponent is at very high percent), he has a hard time finding a kill.
  • No disjoints: Almost none of Wrastor’s moves sport disjointed hitboxes and trading is rarely in his favor. This forces him to rely on whiff punishing, though he is very good at doing so.
