Zhang Fei is a fairly simplistic character. 236P~P is an incredibly good projectile, and using that in conjunction with 5CD, j.CD and even 214K~4K can threaten from further distances.
Offense
Find ways to force respect from your opponent with light buttons and pressure resets with 236P, and then start running 50/50s between 2B and 6B. With the right resources in play, you can kill off either one. It's also very easy to cross up with j.B.
Defense
On defense, you can use 623P to call out gaps in pressure strings, or use 214P to punish particularly greedy opponents in neutral.
