Profile

Cyphr is an easygoing, stubborn girl whose sense of duty is second only to her sharp tongue-in-cheek sarcasm. Despite being physically impaired, she doesn't let any circumstances make her feel different and she adapted to her handicap pretty well - mostly, due to her obstinacy in refusing the use of mechanical prosthetic arms. She is the granddaughter of the notorious gangster Granney Rößmudder, to which most of her misfortunes are to be ascribed - as she was used as an organ reservoir for him. Despite her horrible past, Cyphr is a pretty optimistic girl who cares a lot about her apperance and enjoys her life. Still, it's clear to everyone who knows her that the scars of her childhood will never get completely healed.[1]

Playstyle

Mixup character who excels at keeping close range pressure. By making use of her unique stance Rosenhaltung, Cyphr can unleash a barrage of Low and Mid attacks, forcing the opponent to guess at every turn. Advised for players who like to have several approach options, she's overall a solid character for both beginners and advanced players. Getting the hang of her stance transition could require some attunement, though.

Unique Traits

Cyphr has no arms, so her Punch attacks are actually additonal Kick attacks or body lounges. She has access to a special Rosenhaltung stance which allows her to access several additional attacks. All her moves have German names and some refer, to various degrees, to the story of Little Red Riding Hood.

Cyphr is a mixup monster who excels at close range. While she has access to a fair amount of quick, unpredictable lows, her most powerful attacks and combo starters have - however - a rather long startup. Conditioning the opponent and overwhelming them with her pokes is the name of her game - a game at which excels.
