You can move the joystick around to control the fireball's speed and trajectory. If the opponent reflects it, it becomes their property, with full control. Because Ryu no longer has a projectile of his own on screen, a second Hadoken can be fired (and reflected). A multiple Hadokens can be thrown by kara-cancelling a normal into the Hadoken input (e.g. LP, QCF, u+MP).

Can be done with TK motion: QCB > Neutral > Up + K This makes Tatsu safe on hit and can be comboed, but incorrect timing can send Ryu flying backward to the opposite end of the screen. This also builds a large amount of meter.

  • With the kara-cancelling trick you can put a silly amount of fireballs on the screen and it's very difficult for a lot of characters to deal with that once Ryu gets started.
