Super Dodge Ball is the last game released by Technōs Japan before going bankrupt, featuring their beloved hot-blooded hero Kunio as the star protagonist. This is the Neo Geo version of Super Dodge Ball, not to be confused with the original 1987 Super Dodge Ball on the arcade and the 1989 NES version of Super Dodge Ball. Unlike the two previous versions where Kunio faces off against teams around the world, the teams in the Neo Geo version consist of familiar friends and enemies that Kunio has encountered through the Kunio-kun series. The Neo Geo version also operates more similarly to a fighting game, where players can perform special moves through fighting game inputs in a faster paced setting.
