Introduction

xSSBC_Weegee_Stock.png Weegee(ウィージー) is a mysterious entity that came into being from unknown origins. Nobody truly knows what Weegee is, or how it came to be in the world of Smash Bros. Crusade, but it is generally believed that Weegee first existed as a gag created by a user on the website '4chan' in order to poke fun at the dubious nature of how the character Luigi appeared in the game 'Mario is Missing'. Ever since that post, the caricature later dubbed as Weegee began to spread across the internet like wildfire, spawning numerous variations of the original meme. Weegee, as previously stated, does bear a striking resemblance to the Mario character Luigi, but with some notable differences. Weegee has wide, unblinking eyes, as well as a face that almost never changes expression. Weegee is quite tall, with an unmoving statue-like stance, leading to it looking fairly imposing compared to its overall-clad look-alikes. Weegee isn't known to have a voice of its own, and it instead copies voice clips from various other sources.
In the supposed origins of Weegee, the Weegee fad ended up growing so widespread that it caused entire subsections and fan-made characters to start popping up surrounding it. This is when Weegees supposed second life began, as the subject of Youtube videos known as 'Youtube Poops'. Youtube Poops are (usually) remixed scenes from various different media, made to show characters in extremely ridiculous scenes for the sake of comedy. Weegee was generally depicted as a villainous creature out to turn different characters into clones of itself, having to be defeated in order to stop its reign of terror. Its power seemed to fluctuate, but it was never an easy foe to beat.
Weegee was shown to have the now notorious ability to turn people (and sometimes even objects) into copies of itself merely by staring at them. This would become known as the 'Weegee Stare' and would be what Weegee became the most known for. Besides that though, Weegee has been shown to have numerous other abilities, ranging from shapeshifting to blowing up entire planets. The only ability of Weegee's that has remained consistent is the Stare, so it is largely unknown what Weegee is truly capable of.
