When her mother was murdered a year ago, Ria gave up her career as a secretary and devoted her life to pursuing vengeance. Unable to get any reliable information regarding her mother's murderer, Ria agreed to become a dualist if it meant Phantom would provide her with the information she was seeking. Ria only fights the other dualists because she wants to avenge her mother.

Overview

Ria is a close-range pressure character with access to a unique projectile that can either enhance her offense or provide coverage in neutral. Ria's double fang offers a lot of utility to ria, but their biggest usage is to produce a guard crash. Ria's other tools like spinning edge and gatling slash are also a good addition to her offense. Defensively Ria's specials are lackluster, and mix-ups are underwhelming without double fang setups.

Playstyle

Ria is classified as Mid-Range Speed. She's a pressure character who can use her unique projectile to cover her neutral or strengthen her offense.

Double Fang : Ria's Projectile can full fill multiple purposes such as Combo extender, Okizeme, and Pressure insurance, with Their only flaw being poor zoning tools. Best Pressure Ria has several Guard cancel Proof block strings, Plus on block dive attack, and the majority of her attacks are safe on block. Conversion: Ria Dashing Medium can't be air tech allowing for easy juggles, Double fang can be used to pick up on awkward confirms. Mobility: Ria has fast dashes and her Spinning Edge can be used as command movement thanks to its jumping arc, Ria has little trouble closing the distance.

Fireball wars: Ria's double Fang can do everything except Zoning out the opponent. Other projectiles tend to out-prioritize it. Weak Mix up: Ria's mix-ups are underwhelming with slow overheads, even her dive attack is not an overhead. Poor defense: Gatling slash and spinning edge have very short invincibility making them unreliable in most reversals scenarios.
