Miguel

Introduction

Miguel is the neighbor of former karate champion Johnny Lawrence, who convinces Johnny to train him. Miguel helps him to reopen and establish a student base at Cobra Kai Dojo, though he quickly falls into the Cobra Kai mentality of "no mercy". As his attitude shifts, his relationship with Samantha LaRusso falls apart, leading to a dangerous rivalry of his own with Johnny's estranged son, Robby Keene.

Their rivalry reaches a boiling point, resulting in Miguel suffering a spinal injury, after getting sent over a balcony and hitting the stairs. When he does awaken from his coma, he is ready to rebuild his life in a healthier mindset. He recruits Johnny's help once again, this time, forming a new dojo away from the merciless teachings of John Kreese.

Miguel is a Combo Freak class fighter, and by default is a member of Eagle Fang Karate.
