Naruto: Clash of Ninja/GNT Releases

The games in the Gekitō Ninja Taisen! series were created as quickly as the source material was being written and animated, so not as many games were released in the west as opposed to in Japan due to the effort it would have taken to localize each of them. As a result, there are 8 Japanese games, but only 5 North American games (and Europe only got 4!); however, the NA games had some liberties taken in content included instead of going for 1:1 ports so that both audiences got mostly the same experience along with some fresh content on the side. Most notably, the first four GameCube games all came out before the first Clash of Ninja game was ever localized, and the last GNT series release was a Japan-only game.
