Project NG, The Newgrounds Fighting Game Dojo/Convict

Introduction

Convict is the titular main antagonist of Pico vs. Convict, a Pico Day submission created by Luis. He is a mysterious serial killer who has the unique ability to physically shapeshift his body into any form that he chooses.

Convict has had very few appearances in Newgrounds crossovers, one of which being Newgrounds Rumble where in his story mode in the wake of Cassandra's slaughter, a new nemesis has risen to fill the deceased fear-monger's shoes. All the better, Pico's trigger finger was getting a little cramped anyway.

• Convict was the newest character that was added to Newgrounds Rumble mid-development back in 2006 for Pico Day
• Convict originally didn't start as a fan-made Pico School character but instead, an OC created by Luis
  • There's a character named Buckshot who shares a similar design and motives to Convict but Buckshot isn't a shapeshifter.
• Convict design in Project: NG references Skullgirls Double and Sr. Pelo Convict design for Pico Day 2022
  • Convict has always had an inconsistent design in each appearance from Pico Vs Convict, Newgrounds Rumble, Strike Force Heroes: Extraction, and Portal Defenders: Fast Break
    • Convict has made an appearance in a mobile game called "Strike Force Heroes: Extraction" with a different design. The game is lost media and no gameplay of Convict has been shown
• Pico vs Convict was taken down due to copyrighted music but there are archives of the video
• Rumble Piconjo and Convict are original characters that were added to Newgrounds Rumble as the main antagonists for the game
  • There was going to be another original main antagonist named Tracie who was fully completed but was scrapped due to her sprites being too slow for attacks
