Meter, Meter Gain and Meter Usage

Each meter consists of 33 points, with 3 bars, totalling 99 points. Connecting with a throw or a light attack in any way grants 6 meter. Connecting with a heavy attack or non-overdrive special move grants 12 meter. No meter is gained when connecting with an OD move, super, or any move during Hyperdrive. Projectiles that connect grant 12 meter. If they connect after 25 frames, they grant 6 meter instead.

Using an Overdrive (OD) move costs 1 bar (33 meter). Using Hyperdrive costs 2 bars. Performing a super requires 1 bar, but uses all remaining meter, scaling the damage up to 3 bars.

Juggle

Moves that juggle after a knockdown include all command heavies, most Overdrive moves, and most Supers. Command heavies can only juggle a limited number of times, dictated by how many hits the move has. You cannot juggle after a sweep attack (NEKOGAMI, DRAGONOH, UCHUZINE, SHIPPOOH, and DIMCYBER c.H).

Throw and Throw tech

Throws do varying damage depending on the character. They all start up in 16 frames and can be teched for 5 frames after a throw connects. Both characters stumble back and return to neutral at the exact same time.
