Basics

Yomi Hustle follows a non-traditional attack system. Players choose an action, then "lock in" that action, playing out until either player can make another action.

Here, you will see 4 types of moves. Defense, special, attack, and movement.

Defense

Players have 3 defensive options: Block high, block low, and dodge. Attacks like "Punch" are high, and require a high block, while attacks like "Kick" are low, and require a low block. A well timed block is known as a parry. Here is what a successful parry looks like:

A dodge is less flashy, it's a simple roll. Punishable on whiff.
