Big Bang Beat -Revolve- is a 4-button fighter, with a standard 9-direction joystick.

The buttons are comprised of three attack buttons, and a situational special button that does different things depending on the character:

Universal Command List

Movement

  • Walk - Hold BBBR Left.png or BBBR Right.png for backwards and forwards walk, respectively.
  • Forward Dash - BBBR Right.pngBBBR Right.png for a short burst of movement forwards. Most characters can continue into a run by holding BBBR Right.png.
  • Backdash - BBBR Left.pngBBBR Left.png for a short burst of movement backwards. Characters possess a brief period of invincibility at the beginning of the backdash.
  • Jump and Double Jump - BBBR Up-Left.png or BBBR Up.png or BBBR Up-Right.png for backwards, neutral, and forward jump respectively. Double jumps are performed the same way.
  • Super Jump - BBBR Down-Left.png/BBBR Down.png/BBBR Down-Right.png, then BBBR Up-Left.png or BBBR Up.png or BBBR Up-Right.png for backwards, neutral, and forward super jump respectively.
  • Air Dash - BBBR Right.pngBBBR Right.png while in the air. You can't do this when very close to the ground, and the distance traveled varies depending on the character.
  • Air Backdash - BBBR Left.pngBBBR Left.png while in the air. The restrictions explained above also apply.

Attacks

  • Throw - BBBR A Button.png + BBBR B Button.png while neutral or holding BBBR Left.png. Throws performed while holding BBBR Left.png will switch sides.

  • Air Block - Hold any backwards direction (BBBR Down-Left.png, BBBR Left.png, or BBBR Up-Left.png) while in the air to guard any air-blockable attack.
  • Air Tech - Hold BBBR Left.png, BBBR Neutral.png, or BBBR Right.png, and press any button in the air (BBBR A Button.png, BBBR B Button.png or BBBR C Button.png) after combos to move in the direction held, allowing escape from otherwise inescapable combos and traps.
