Big Bang Beat -Revolve- is a 1-on-1 2D fighting game developed in partnership with AliceSoft and released in 2011 by now-defunct developer Frontier Aja, known for Million KNights Vermillion and, more recently, the Touhou Project game Koumajou Remilia: Scarlet Symphony. It is based on Daibanchou: Big Bang Age, an eroge made by AliceSoft, and features all characters from that game.
The game has a classic anime fighter feel, incorporating mechanics such as Bursts from ArcSys games, and movement before round start like the Melty Blood series. It does features a few unique mechanics, such as the use of B-Stones to build meter. Its usage of air-unblockable moves makes the general neutral fairly grounded and poke-heavy for the most part. While a very easy game to get into, it has a high skill ceiling with plenty of unique tech to discover.
This wiki was created to both help new players get into the game, and allow returning players to keep track of all the weird intricacies that come with its systems. We're dedicated to collecting as much information as possible, and will continue to do so until the wiki is deemed feature-complete.
