Getting the Game to Work

• Why does my game crash on startup?

The game must be run either with a Japanese system locale or when launched through Locale Emulator. See Getting Started for more info on how to accomplish these.

• Why don't my special moves come out?

The game is very particular about special move inputs; always hold down the last directional input until you press the attack button.

• Why does the game randomly freeze on round start/on certain Eimi moves?

Whenever the game's MIDI soundtrack starts playing, which happens in those cases, the game will lock up until the song loads. To amend this, try running the game in different compatibility modes until the game's soundtrack stops working.

Gameplay

• Who shouldn't I pick?

Any character except for Chisa is workable. Reiko is probably the 2nd worst, but definitely more playable than Chisa.
