Project NG, The Newgrounds Fighting Game Dojo/Piconjo (Rumble)

Introduction

Rumble Piconjo is the main antagonist and an original character made for Newgrounds Rumble who is a rival to Pico. The character is a reference to another character with a similar name, Piconjo.

Rumble Piconjo has had very few appearances in Newgrounds crossovers, one of which being Newgrounds Rumble where in his story mode the dark side of Newgrounds has been growing more numerous and brazen, sometimes appearing on the front page. As Rumble Piconjo prepares for one final push, all of Newgrounds hangs in the balance.

Trivia

• A popular misconception people had is Rumble Piconjo and Piconjo are the same character but this is false. Rumble Piconjo is a different character from the real Piconjo and is only a parody/reference to the real Piconjo
  • Similar to how Dan Hibiki was a parody of Ryo Sakazaki and Robert Garcia, the two lead characters of SNK's Art of Fighting series. Rumble Piconjo is a parody/reference to the real Piconjo
• The devs wanted to create an original rival to Pico for Newgrounds Rumble but the prototype of Rumble Piconjo's design wasn't a reference to Piconjo but instead an evil version of Pico with a sword, the design was scrapped in favor of making it a bit more faithful to Piconjo
  • There was going to be a rival for Nene named Tracie who was fully completed but was scrapped due to her sprites being too slow for attacks
• Despite being a villain, in Fancy Pants story mode, it reveals that Rumble Piconjo was once a carefree stickmin and is willing to team up with other stickin meaning at one point he wasn't evil and there might be some good in Rumble Piconjo
