Kurama would be an extremely strong character in YYMD if not for the painful amount of meter he needs to consume to be effective. With strong space-controlling specials, corner-carry BnB's, and lock-down tools that force the opponent to properly block and react to escape his strong corner pressure, the only thing he'll struggle to do is afford it all.
His Rose projectile also losing to even Level 1 Reigun's, as well as his Rose Whip failing to combat the strong assortment of multi-hit ariels that some members of the cast possess, playing Kurama well requires all of the spacing constraints to play Kuwabara, just at a 200% markup on meter and anxiety.
