Older Toguro is, aptly, strange. The apple falling a bit farther from the tree compared to the strength of his Younger brother, Y.Toguro. Being able to contort himself into a high-speed controllable projectile and teleport across the screen at will- leaving behind a doppelganger in the process, where O.Toguro excels in manipulating the unorthodox movement options and neutral of YYMD for his opponent, he lacks in damage.

Ironically enough, even though he lacks any extremely damaging combos, he does have one of the easiest infinites in the game out of his throw- putting the opponent in a lengthy, often time-consuming stun-loop. Adding onto the list of gimmicks, his super- while unimpressive at first glance, can ToD the entire roster if set up properly after a dizzy. This may seem incredibly impressive and overwhelming, but with the often 0-to-100 volatility of YYMDs damage output, most players will quickly find that having such an easily accessible ToD will present itself with far fewer opportunities to actually execute in practice.

O.Toguro does still maintain a very interesting play-style with his teleports, however- commanding their opponent to have full control over their movement and make the right predictions on where O.Toguro will be to properly punish. Otherwise, they'll be at the mercy of an instant-dizzy and some short-but-sweet free damage, as minor as it may be.
