Eternal Fighter Zero is a 2D doujin fighting game that was the first game made by Tasogare Frontier (known for developing Immaterial and Missing Power and Touhou Hisoutensoku). It made its debut at Comiket 58 and a demo with 4 characters was packaged in the Fast Food demo disc along with doujin games from many other creators. Strangely enough, this demo that came out after the proper game plays completely differently. Its colorful cast of characters are originally from the visual novels One: Kagayaku Kisetsu e and Kanon. Many of the characters’ attacks reference other fighting games such as Guilty Gear, King of Fighters, and Last Blade.
