Name:Michiko Hoshi
Age:27
Occupation: Teacher
Introduction
A biracial woman having an American father and Japanese mother. She's a science teacher at "St. Tekan Gakuen Middle School". Normally, she is popular with her students and is a kind teacher, but once she gets on a motorcycle, she transforms into a daredevil street racer. By synchronizing with the angel, she was able to freely manipulate the wind.
Gameplay
Highway Star is an aggressive Shoto with lethal damage output, an okizeme game, and great defensive tools. This is in addition to her fast movement, long-range normals, and being the only waifu with two Emotion. She is, almost unanimously, considered to be the strongest character in TDAE by a couple of notches higher than Raiya. Finding weaknesses in Michiko's gameplay is difficult as just about everything she has is useful to keep her offensive. But on the flip side, her defensive game is solid because 623P, 63214P, and 63214K as a Guard Cancel just repel advances. Even though a few of her attacks have heavy disadvantages when guarded, they can be ignored for the rest of her tools that knock her opponents around to get up a ToD.
Strengths |
Weaknesses
|
- Neutral defense tier.
- Fastest movement speed in the game.
- 2HK a long-reaching and safe LOW that leads into HJ juggles.
- 4/6HP a fast overheads that easily can link into 2LP.
- 236P's crawling movement makes it a great oki tool.
- 623HP may just be the best attack in the game with its high damage, usability in the air, a great Guard Cancel attack, and combo ender that usually ends a ToD juggle.
- 63214K's range pretty good for tick throw attempts, or as a Guard Cancel.
- 641236KK the only Emotion able to be performed in the air, and it completely changes how the attack works.
|
- Weaker Throws: c.6HK LAUNCHES.
- 623P isn't invincible.

- Guarding this crouching can sometimes yield more chip damage than guarding it standing, but not changing the overall +Guard timing.
- Either hit can be interrupted for the ATTACK CHANCE, but doing so on the 2nd hit causes Highway Star to completely circumvent her backflipping recovery animation, putting her back on the ground up to 60F before the opponent can recover.

- This has two separate hitbox positions that aren't connected. The falling bike hits seemingly max out at 8 regardless on how high the opponent is hit, dealing 54 damage——same as the ground version. After landing, Highway Star does 4 donuts, but it can only hit once and doesn't combo after the aerial hits. The donut frames can be circumvented with an ATTACK CHANCE.
