Alice Gear Aegis CS is a Mecha Musume-themed 3D aerial arena fighting game developed by Pyramid and published by MAGES in Japan and PQube for the rest of the world.
This game places strong emphasis on projectiles and utilizing dash mechanics to avoid your opponent’s ranged and melee attacks while forcing them to move in a way to get hit by your own, with guarding being used as a last resort to either mitigate incoming damage or activate more advanced movement techniques. Part of the game's appeal also comes from customizing your character's loadout and cosmetic appearance before the start of the match, with character preference usually based on what equipment is exclusive to them.
While there are three game modes available, the one used for tournament play is the 3v3 battle where two players select a team of 3 characters from the roster and then duke it out like a Marvel vs Capcom 1 match, except with a lot more projectiles in a 3D arena.
