Story

"Geovana is a convict that fights using her leg brace."

A reimagination of GGST'S Giovanna.

Strengths Weaknesses
  • Oppressive Frame Advantage: Geovana's attacks have great framedata, meaning she has access to multiple frametraps and + on block moves.
  • Great Mobility: Geovana has some of the highest walkspeed, dash speed and airdash speed in the game, allowing her to aproach you easily, specially from the air. Superjump>airdash>doublejump>airdash>airdash.
  • Snowball Potential: Her high counterhit damage + strong offense means she can very well win a round from any touch, even better if she corners you.
  • Amazing Mixups: Geovana has 3 lows(2M,2H,236M), multiple overheads, a rekka, a demonflip and a comboable throw (5S delay 236H)
  • Great Throw: Geovana's grab is the fastest in the game, and with meter or the corner she gains the ability to combo off of it, this gives her some scary damage if you guess wrong
  • Roblox Limbs: Geovana is a short character without weapons, meaning her attacks have very limited range.
  • Weak Defense: Short range, no revesal outside of Ultimate, she only has gimmicks like 2S and 214H and universal mechanics for defense.
  • Bad Hitconfirming: Geovana has easily the worst hitconfirming ability in the game, her moves lack the range to combo from far hits
  • No good Anti Airs: Geovana doesn't have a grounded anti air, has to stick with jumping at them
  • Reliance on Mixups: Geovana does not have crazy high damage in her combos, which forces her to succesfully mix up the opponent many times

Gameplay

Geovana is a fast rushdown who has multiple tools to open up the opponent. Her multiple lows, fast throw, and demonflip give her great options once she is in your face. Tools such as 214X making you either guess if it is a cross up or not, tick throw setups, or her fast aerial movement allow her to run over any unsuspecting players.

However she has one major weakness, her lack of neutral tools. Almost all of Geovana's specials are for her mix, and in matchups where she struggles against getting in, she will become less and less of a threat. Geovana also has terrible range, which makes getting in even harder for her.
