Character Info
Seeking redemption for his underwhelming performance in the Z'gok, Soldier 2 returns piloting the Acguy. Acguy is an amphibious mobile suit ideal for stealth as it's reactors left only a trace heat signature. In EX Revue, Acguy is a rushdown character with slow walk speed, but excellent pressure tools and crossups galore. The main way Acguy moves is using it's stance change special, lovingly dubbed "monkey mode" by the community, which allows it to climb across the top of the stage much faster than it can move on the ground. A lack of a standard grab makes strike/throw pressure much less scary for Acguy's opponents, as the pummel can be mashed out of as soon as the second hit.

A quick two punch attack, the first hit could be used as an anti-air but it's not active for very long so it's not the best option.

A great jump in, but other attacks do the job as well as, if not better than j.B so it's not the most used attack in Acguy's arsenal.

Acguy jumps up to cling to the cieling, fully invincible while rising. While in Monkey Mode, Acguy can move forwards and backwards with 6 and 4 much faster than it can on the ground, drop down with 2 or perform a divekick that knocks down with any button. While Acguy drops down from Monkey Mode it's able to attack. Monkey mode is the core of Acguy's neutral game.

Acguy's reversal. Not fully invincible while rising, but rather hard to punish thanks to it's hitboxes while falling.

Acguy does a psycho crusher that knocks down. The speed and length it travels are determined by the button pressed. Be careful about using a strong version near the corner as you may be punished on hit in the corner for using the wrong version.
