Training Mode Setup
The game on Dreamcast has a training mode. Sadly, it's pretty bare bones even during its time. You can turn on infinite health and restoring armor from the pause menu.
You can't have the cpu do what you want because you don't have dummy settings. You can only set which CPU difficulty you can fight with from Rank G (doing nothing) to Master (Hardest CPU). The second player controller can control the CPU.
Flycast Dojo Training Additions
Thankfully, Flycast Dojo's tools can alleviate these issues. As of now, there's no LUA script. But with the training mode from the game select screen select, the record/playback functions coupled with the Player 1/2 switch makes for a decent substitute for the in-game training mode by itself.
