Chiyo-chichi (commonly referred to as Chiyopapa by the community) is a strange, yellow- to orange-colored, cat-like creature who appears to Sakaki and Osaka in their dreams. He claims to be the father of Chiyo. In Sakaki's dream, he shows slight knowledge of himself not being a real cat, as he tells Sakaki to "find a real cat". However, when Sakaki mentions this to him in the anime, he grows angered and appears to remember nothing of this conversation. He also appears to have a dislike for tomatoes, as they are red, but he ensures Chiyo eats them, to keep up her health.

Chiyopapa is an unorthodox rushdown character that can throw tomatoes to level up his Iai Giri.

Flight - Chiyopapa has a slow flight mode he can go into by just jumping, this lets him stay in parts of the screen no other character can reach.
High/low mix - Since he can fly instantly, he can access his overhead normals extremely low to the ground.
Great Supers - 3 out of his 4 supers are pretty good, one of which (214214C) is bugged in a way that you make yourself stand in the air.
High stun damage - Chiyopapa's multi-hitting normals and level 2 mist finer do a lot of stun, allowing him to touch of stun combos.
Broken Outburst - Getting an Outburst with Chiyopapa essentially just ends the round.
Weird - Chiyopapa takes some time to get used to, completely lacking a traditional jump and having a generally unconventional game plan.
Big - Chiyopapa is uniquely wide, making combos on him easier.
