Introduction
The infamous cow character. Though obviously played for laughs, Ushi does have a few things going for her. She has a strange style, with top-tier Health, the fastest health regen, and perhaps the closest thing to conventional oki setups in a game that essentially lacks them.
Ushi’s moveset is quite small, with very little beyond the basics. Ushi can reach BT quite easily, and has similar attacks to Pierre from this position. Though she has several Mids, they’re slow and Ushi struggles to combo from her launchers. She can instead attempt to use her "Ready for Fight" stance to establish a 3-way mixup with potentially high rewards, but this is still less effective than typical combos to Piyori into Knockdown/Specials. Uniquely, Ushi has no frontal Throw, reversing the usual trouble a character may have when dealing with turtles.
Capitalizing on opportunities is hard for Ushi in general, due to several impracticalities in her design, but she has some potential for effective long-game strategies revolving around her parry, risky Counter, and rest holds.
