The only daughter of the Shinto shrine where Kanae is freeloading. Though they're unrelated, she assumes the role of Kanae's elder sister. A seemingly meek figure, she is actually an expert at karate. She uses heavy-hitting single strikes and breathing techniques to harness the power of a long-forgotten fighting style.

Playstyle

Minami Maeda is your typical slow-moving big-damage character with a hadoken and a power geyser.
Pros	Cons
Obscene Damage - Minami's raw damage output is one of the highest with or without resources. Compounded with Gleam comeback mechanics, she can kill in as little as 2 or 3 stray hits. Powerful Punish Game - Will obliterate you for over-extending with INFIGHT!! She can easily activate the Wall-Slam OHKO with multiple moves.	Bad Neutral Game - Slow dash and stubby normals make getting an opening incredibly difficult for Minami, especially in a rushdown-focused game like GOF2. Hardcoded Disdadvantage!? - Minami will always recover 1 frame later than everyone else.
