Overview

Give an overview of the char.

Playstyle
Guy is a joke character with a touch of lethality that makes him somewhat workable.
Pros Cons
  • Great Corner Damage - Guy can easily ToD in the corner.
  • Trouble Getting In - Guy has no airdash and the lowest jump in the game, making it hard for him to get through zoning.
  • Reliance on Briefcase - If Guy loses his briefcase, he also loses his best tools and starts taking chip damage from normals, so he needs to get it back quickly.
  • Terrible Defense - Guy has the lowest health in the game and an unconventional reversal that does no damage, not to mention again that when he doesn't have his briefcase, he takes chip damage from normals.

Character Summary

Move list

Command Normals
4H - Achoo!: A launcher that can't be jump cancelled.
Special Moves
5S - Paperwork Javelin: A powerful arcing projectile that can even be angled upward by holding 4. Removes Guy's briefcase, causing him to enter a stance where his briefcase moves are replaced with weaker variants and he takes chip damage from normals until he retrieves it.
5S (Without Briefcase) - Graphite Spear: A weak and short ranged projectile.
4S - Business Tornado: A slow but damaging spin followed by a Paperwork Javelin. Also causes Guy to lose his briefcase.
2S - Coffee Break: Consumes 1 Bean to grant increased speed and a double jump for a short time, but decreases speed for a bit after the effect is up. Pressing 2SP again allows for a powerful unblockable attack in exchange for another Bean.
j.S - Just A Kick: A forward moving kick.
Supers
5SP - Taxi Please!: Calls a taxi that arrives after ~900 frames, dealing massive damage. You can press SP again to spend another 25% meter to reduce damage in exchange for it giving you Beans equal to the amount of extra meter spent.
2SP - Courageous Leap: A weak jumping super. Does more damage and can be dash cancelled partway through if used during 2S buff.
