Sango Guardian Chaos Generation/Controls
Basic Controls
Sango Guardian Chaos Generation is controlled using four primary attack buttons, and a standard nine-direction joystick.
The four attack buttons are A, B, C and D.
A = Light Punch B = Light Kick C = Heavy Punch D = Heavy Kick
The above diagram shows the two primary layouts for the attack buttons.
Type A is the default button layout, and comes with the advantage of most two-button actions being easily accessible (especially throws), but can feel very awkward to players more familiar with box or standard rainbow layouts.
Type B is the recommended layout for players who are more comfortable with box-style layouts, though this comes at the expense of two-button throws being on a slightly awkward input.
Directions are notated using numpad notation, which uses numbers to describe directions in accordance to their location on a numpad.

Universal Commands
5AB: Spot Dodge. Dodges in place, providing full strike invulnerability until recovery. Press any attack button after a dodge to perform a Dodge Attack, which can then be cancelled into special moves for a combo.
4/6AB: Roll. Dodges forward or backward depending on the chosen direction, providing full strike invulnerability until recovery. Can pass through opponents. Normal attacks can be cancelled into roll for one bar of the super meter.
4/6AD or cl.4/6C/D: Throw. Characters are able to perform both forward and backward throws. Curiously, Chaos Generation allows throws to be performed either as a two-button bespoke action, or as a one-button proximity-based throw. The two kinds of throws do not have the exact same properties -- the differences between each can be found on the Mechanics page.
BC: MAX Mode. Spends one bar of the super meter to activate a power-up mode that temporarily provides access to a number of new abilities, which are detailed on the Mechanics page.
CD: Force Attack, almost identical to a Focus Attack from Street Fighter IV. Can be charged up to three levels, and dash cancelled during the charge or on contact.
236CD: Air Burst, a metered launcher that costs one bar of the super meter to perform.
AB/CD while blocking: Guard Cancel. Spends one bar of the super meter to cancel blockstun into either a roll or a guard cancel attack.
