Overview
Noodle is a low-damage, zoner/trap character who uses their long range and Soup setplay to keep the opponent out. Despite falling more into the zoner archetype, Noodle is well balanced with being able to pressure with their setplay and play solid defense with Frenzy.
Strengths |
Weaknesses
|
- Great Range: Noodle can consistently poke at the opponent with long moves.
- Soup: Soup is a potent tool that helps Noodle in every area.
- Excellent Pressure: With the combination of their trappy setplay, chip damage, and long range moves Noodle is a force to be reckoned with when they start their offense (especially off of a corner knockdown).
- Chip Damage: With Soup, Trample, and Buzzsaw, Noodle has the highest amount of chip damage by far.
|
- Low Damage: Noodle has the lowest damage in the game outside of specific scenarios.
- Low Health: Noodle is tied for the lowest health in the game, leading to them dying in less interactions.
- Mobility: Noodle is tied with having the slowest walk speed in the game and their other movement options are relatively slow.
- Bad Jumps: Because Noodle's jump cancel does not have a timing mixup, Noodle is susceptible to more anti-airs or ones with easier timings than the rest of the cast.
- Mediocre Defense: While Noodle has a frame 1 armored reversal, it loses to meaty setups, can be canceled on, and gives low reward without meter.
