Story

A prodigy from Ritter Schild, Londrekia traveled to these lands to settle the score with his rival, Erika Wagner.

He accomplished this goal while on a mission to suppress Amnesia, but the biggest threat of all--Kuon the Aeon--soon appeared before him. To Londrekia, though, even the appearance of this powerful Re-Birth is just another opportunity for him to put up results for Ritter Schild.

He hopes his efforts in defending the town from Kuon and demonstrating the power of Ritter Schild will reach Adelheid, who waits in a faraway land...

Gameplay

Londrekia is a mid-range rekka character with projectile pokes and rewarding blossom okizeme. His freeze mechanic can be used to extend combos, set up oki, or threaten the opponent in neutral. Once he has his debuff active on the opponent, pokes becomes much more rewarding with a stray projectile hit leading to a full combo. Londrekia also possesses some of the best corner carry in UNI and can set up blossom oki off of almost any combo, allowing him to easily snowball his neutral hits into scary strike/throw oki.

Londrekia is a beginner difficulty character with accessible routing and tools. However, excelling with this character requires spacing, conditioning, and calculated risk-taking.


Strengths Weaknesses
  • Strong neutral pokes from rekkas and 4C give full corner carry into freeze for okizeme with relatively high meterless damage
  • 5BB is one of the strongest defensive pokes in UNI2 with high reward (3.6k corner-to-corner into freeze)
  • Fireballs (236x) and blossoms (22x) can be mixed in neutral to apply debuff against passive opponents
  • Extremely strong control of the vorpal cycle during a combo, especially when using 22C to extend freeze state and concentrate
  • Freeze state leads to blossom okizeme that grants a 2.2k throw or 4k backdash shimmy, so his strike/throw is quite strong with a setup
  • Icicle Rain (j236B+C) and EX Blossom (22C) are extremely strong EX moves in neutral or on offense
  • Meterless one-button DP in the form of his Force Function
  • Good spread of defensive option selects including a “divekick function” rising jC OS that connects on crouchers
  • His j3B and j[C] cover unique angles and can be utilized in matchup-specific tech
  • No EX reversals mean special moves are high commitment without CS or 200 meter for IW
  • Force Function reversal is strike-invul, but not throw-invul, and has relatively slow startup at 12F
  • No frame 1 head/dive invul move
  • 6F A normals
  • Rekka pressure/mixups can be unsafe without resources
  • 4C is -13 on block and always has a natural gap when special canceling without meter, so it can be unsafe to use against characters with access to a horizontal reversal
  • Mediocre assault normals for neutral and pressure (there are better alternatives to assault jC that should be used; assaulting at all is a more rare/circumstantial option with Lond)
  • Has a hard time talking to women

Unique Trait
  • Dare Glacial (Freeze) - On hit or block, 6B, 236X, 22X, 236B+C and j.236B+C will leave a Freeze debuff on the opponent.
    • Hitting an opponent with one of these attacks while they are in this state will have it do extra damage and leave them frozen solid, defenceless. This allows for extensions and oki setups if used during a combo and for hits from anywhere on screen to be converted into full combos.
    • Londrekia being hit by or blocking an attack will clear the debuff.
      • Note: 236X and 22X can be purple shielded to prevent the debuff (green shielding will still lead to debuff). However, 6B and 236B+C will always proc debuff, even on successful shield.

  • Airborne: 1~25.
  • CVO cancel is treated the same as EX cancel, you can only CVO when you can EX and the opponent is in hit/blockstun.

  • Requires at least 100 meter and consumes vorpal state and drains meter at a fast rate.
  • Has a lot of hitstun, making it easy to combo from.
  • Grants an additional bounce if both have been used in the combo so far.
